During the ride in one of the 16 panoramic cabins, the city at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle rivers presents itself with impressive motifs and allows a fantastic view of part of the UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley.</p><p>The Koblenz cable car was built in 2010. The aim was to transport visitors to the 2011 Federal Horticultural Show from the city's banks of the Rhine to the exhibition areas of Ehrenbreitstein Fortress. The Koblenz cable car is now known as the most modern cable car system in Germany and as a tourist attraction beyond the city limits and has become an integral part of the Koblenz cityscape.</p><p>Every minute, the cable car travels from Konrad-Adenauer-Ufer up to the mountain station in front of Ehrenbreitstein Fortress. 	At the heart of the Christmas magic is the Advent calendar on the historic town hall, which reveals a new window every day at 17:00. This is accompanied by an entertaining program with performances by various children's groups. Afterwards, popular music groups and artists provide unforgettable live music on the Advent stage, sweetening visitors' mulled wine, punch and other treats.<br>

	Another highlight is the crib trail along the Biebrichsbach stream from Horressen to Montabaur.
