Enjoy the ride on the Koblenz cable car and the breathtaking view of Koblenz, the Deutsches Eck and Ehrenbreitstein Fortress. During the ride in one of the 16 panoramic cabins, the city at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle rivers presents itself with impressive motifs and allows a fantastic view of part of the UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley.

The Koblenz cable car was built in 2010. The aim was to transport visitors to the 2011 Federal Horticultural Show from the city's banks of the Rhine to the exhibition areas of Ehrenbreitstein Fortress. The Koblenz cable car is now known as the most modern cable car system in Germany and as a tourist attraction beyond the city limits and has become an integral part of the Koblenz cityscape.

Every minute, the cable car travels from Konrad-Adenauer-Ufer up to the mountain station in front of Ehrenbreitstein Fortress. Up to 35 people per cabin can be transported barrier-free.

The cable car ticket can be combined with various partners to make your visit to one of Germany's oldest cities an unforgettable experience.

Eifelpark Gondorf

Covering an area of around 100 soccer pitches, the Eifelpark Gondorf adventure park offers a unique combination of leisure park and animal park. More than 60 attractions, over 200 wild animals and exciting shows and events for all ages make the Eifelpark a special excursion destination for the whole family and exciting group trips.

Park highlights include the “Platzhirsch” propeller carousel, an overhead ride with free-swinging gondolas at a height of 50 meters. No less popular are the lively “Pirate Island” wild water ride, the “Wild Mouse” roller coaster and the “Gondorf Pirate Battle” boat tour. Even the little ones have fun: they are allowed to accelerate on the “Eifel-Piste” from the age of 2.

Spectacular highlights include the entertaining dog show, the hilarious comedy show and this year's “Summer Special”: The Acapulco Death Jumpers will be performing their breathtaking stunt show in the Eifelpark from July 6 to August 25.

The themed events Eifelpark Lights and Eifelpark Halloween round off the varied program in the second half of the year.

Since 2020, there has been a restaurant in the Limburg-Weilburg district that has managed to achieve 1st place in the TripAdvisor ranking within just a few months and still holds this position today

It is therefore not surprising that the PASTORALE Kultursalon & Sommergarten on Limburg's Schafsberg now has a catchment area that extends far beyond the district. The restaurant is one of five in Germany that is housed in a former church or chapel. Built in 1896, the chapel impresses with its atmosphere and cuisine, which is why it has a Google ranking of 4.7 and over 250 mostly positive reviews. The chapel is unique in many ways ... The renovations in 2020 gave the chapel 58 seats inside, with acoustics that you are not used to in churches in this form ... It sounds like a living room (thanks to high-tech) ... The Hotel Schlemmer & Victor's Restaurant is located in the heart of the old town of Montabaur and is only a 15-minute walk from the Montabaur outlet. The half-timbered house with its own restaurant is located in the pedestrian zone and half-timbered street of Montabaur and offers an upscale ambience for business people, couples, families, day-trippers and conference guests. The hotel was first recorded in the land registers of the town of Montabaur in 1673 and is one of the town's landmarks.  

The Victor's restaurant uses fresh and regional products. The meat comes from certified farms and the topic of sustainability is an important component.

The history of the hotel:  

The former inn “Zur Crone” can be traced back to early modern times. In 1673, the innkeeper Andreas Winden was named “Schildwirt”. The “Schildwirt” had a concession to put up a sign warning passers-by that they could find accommodation here with their horse and cart. Other citizens of the town were not allowed to accommodate strangers. In the 19th century, the “Zur Krone” inn was run by Heinrich Caspar Schlemmer.  In 1901, Peter Höhn took over the hotel, which is still owned by the family today.
